Parental Advisory: Suggestive scenes and language
It’s a sweet, fun series; Chobits is the story of a shy and bit ignorant country ronin, Motosuwa
Hideki, who goes to Tokyo to attend a college prep school.
There he encounters many androids, which mostly look like cute
humans except their ears, known as Persocons. Walking personal computers, which performs computer tasks to many other mundane
tasks. They come in all sizes and shapes and are incredibly expensive and useful.
Hideki talks to himself out loud, quite
often and is what you might say, a nerd with little knowledge of computers. (Oxymoron anyone?) Well, he wants all these kinds
of luxuries. E-mail and most importantly surf every erotic site on the Internet!
One night, as he is walking home, he finds
an abandoned one lying in a trash pile and decides to take her home.
He names her Chi, because that is the only word she
could really say, it’s rather cute.
She doesn't appear to have any data or Operating System at all, and since he
is poor, he slowly begins to teach her things.
The series is about how Hideki grows more and more attached to Chi, slowly
forgetting that she is just merely a computer...or is she really?
Story rating: 6/10
Fun and Cute…Could
have been more episodes though
Characters: 9/10
Interesting people, funny
interaction, Chi was one of the most adorable anime characters ever!
Plot: 8/10
Interesting, it didn’t
get boring and kept you watching. It wasn’t hard to understand, although
they could have explained things a little better.
Would I watch it again: 7/10
Although I don’t have
the time to watch any of my anime again, much less finish them, I would say Chobits is the clean and simple series that is
very re-watchable.
Final Comment:
Get out and watch Chobits!
It’s a series you can’t afford to miss; it’ll make you look at your PC in a whole new way!
OVER ALL: 7.5 Rating!!!
