Here is where I will go on and on about all the video games I like and or dislike.
It's nothing special, just rantings of a deranged person with too much time on their hands! I may deside to put up stratagey
guides eventually....if you're nice.
My rating system
You certaintly don't have to believe me, but this is what I beleave the game deserves from what I've played. Mostly all
the games I have finished, if I haven't, I will make a note of it. There are five catagories which i will be scoring on:
Story rating,Characters, Battles, Replay value, and Extras, they will all be graded on a scale from 1-10 and then I will
take the mean of all the catagories at the end and form a final assesment. Not too bad eh?

FINAL FANTASY 7

Since I’m starting
with a picture of Aerith, I may as well review the game, not like anyone doubts that it’s a great game, I just figure
it’ll look pretty and take up the space.
Yes, it’s one of the
best games of all time, and I don’t care what you say.
Final Fantasy 7 came out
in America on PlayStation: June 1st, 1997. Since then there has been
a massive explosion of Final Fantasy appreciation. Personally I think it was
the best one and Sqaresoft’s peek, because ever since then their games have just gone down hill. Now that they have merged with Enix, let’s just hope that they don’t continue their downward
spiral.
Story rating: 10/10
It’s a jaw dropping,
bittersweet story…I just think Cloud and Aerith were more meant to be than Tifa and Cloud….
Characters: 10/10
I love how they had the extra
characters. Vincent has a great story; they could have done more with Yuffy though.
Battles: 8/10
Fun, exciting, and interesting
new creatures. The weapons were fun also, but maybe a little too hard for my
tastes!
Replay value: 7/10
Although if you did what
I did and played through it once but didn’t beat it, then took a few years and played only through the first disc nearly
50 times, it tends to get tedious.
Extras: 9/10
The chocobos were just a
pain…and they could have made the caves a little more epic, I mean all that for nights of the round and you just walk
into this room and pick it off the floor? It’s all just a little anticlimactic to me…but over all it was great.

Threads of Fate

Title: Threads of Fate (Dew Prism)
Publisher:
Squaresoft USA
Genre/Category: Action RPG
System: PS one
Number
of Players: 1
Release Date: 06/2000
Compatible Peripheral Features: Vibration Function, Memory Card
Threads of Fate is a mystical
tale of two young adventurers.
Princess Mint, the loud mouthed,
and even down right rude, female character, is in search of a “relic” to gain the power to basically beat up her
younger sister and regain the title of queen. She already holds some magical
abilities, but nothing too outrageous…She also holds a great distaste for pumpkins.
Rue, the male character,
is a silent warrior with a questionable past and the strange ability to morph into different creatures.
Story
rating: 8/10
There could have been more,
but the story was great. A good twist here and there, followed by a big heaping
plate of comedy, it was refreshing.
Characters:
6/10
There weren’t many
characters in it at all, but the colorful cast makes up for it all. I love Mint’s
brash, loud mouth!
Battles:
5/10
The battles aren’t
amazing, I did like the action rpg style of it though, nothing too special.
Replay
value: 10/10
There’s not much replay value but there is two characters and I suggest you replay it anyway
to get both sides of the story…I have yet to play Rue’s side, but I’ve seen most of it and it’s pretty
good!
Extras:
9/10
There isn’t much extra to do, but there are a few mini games that are just down right frustrating. You’re going to want to eat your play station after this.

Game where you bounce a ball up to hit blocks, and prevent the ball from falling out of the playing area.
